I bought this for a friend of mine because they know how much I like mine. I take this “mini” Mr. Coffee every time I go on vacation. I know my friend will like it too.

Mr. Coffee 4-cup Coffee Maker
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Ordered this small coffee maker for our travel trailer. So far it has been brilliant and brews quickly. It is simple with no frills and that is what I was looking for. The small paper filters are simple to find and I really like the double side windows that show the water level. Matter of fact I liked it so much that I bought a larger version for the home.

It’s heat plate grows rusty within few month.
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Two years ago, I brought it and like it. I drink coffee in the morning, so only used it only once a day. Few month after I brought it, its heat plate started growing rusty. I continuely used it for additional six month when the 50% heat plate was rusted. I thought it was an incidence, so I threw it away and brought the same model again. Nine month late, 20% heat plate is rusted…. This time I don’t reckon it is a incidence again.

This coffee maker has been used every single morning for at least 10 years. This summer I took it on a camping trip. Somehow the drinking water container leaked and I found my Mr. Coffee floating in the plastic box in which it was being transported. Figured it was toast and just left it out the rest of the week where it got rained on many times. After returning home I let it dry out, plugged it in, and it works perfectly. I want a new one but this small fella just won’t give up the ship.

Fantastic simple coffee maker
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought mine from the local Navy Exchage. This thing has lasted through three government moves. It doesn’t get much more basic than this. Just fill the pot to the line, pour into the resivour in the back, add coffe and filter into the basket and flip it on. Better yet do it before bed, and flip the switch on when you wake up. The only terrible coffee I’ve had out of this was when I bought a terrible blended coffee.
I would highly recommend this to someone who doesn’t need alot of coffee or the extra bells and whistles.
I’ve seen reviews on here about coffee grinds getting into the resivour and the pot. This is either a result of the basket being in backwards (I learned it the hard way), accedently putting in more than one filter, or simply spilling the grinds when loading the filter.
This this is just the stripped downed bare essential basic coffee maker, and it performs fantastic as long as you don’t expect it to do more than make excellent coffee.

You will despise yourself in the morning.

You will despise yourself in the morning if you buy this Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. IT LEAKS – HORRIBLY!
One full cup of water runs out of the base of the coffeemaker onto your counter top and down the front of the cabinet. I bought two of these coffeemakers, one for my son and one for me. They both leaked. I threw mine in the trash and replaced it with a Cuisinart. Save yourself some grief – don’t buy this coffeemaker.

I am a modest coffee drinker. I drink 4 cups a day, and I require small of a coffeemaker other than an on/off button. My last perfectly servicable Mr. Coffee 4-cup machine bit the dust, so I replaced it with this one, because at least I could re-use the carafe.
Well, the internal design guys have been at the guts of this one. First, you can no longer remove, rinse and/or wipe down the internal chamber condensation from your last pot. You have to insert a papertowel into the new internal resevoir, scraping your hand on some internal parts that probably weren’t meant to be messed with. They have likewise redesigned the basket, and it barely fits the standard coffee filters anymore, without crinkling and leaving grounds in your pot, and, hey, the internal water resevoir, where it has no business backwashing anyway. And god forbid you should try to make 5 cups in your 4-cup machine, for which there is plenty of room in the carafe, and in the resevoir, and which works well in many other 4-cup machines. My coffee maker lives on top of my microwave on a small shelf, by the toaster oven, because I have no counterspace for it. I have to lift it out some 10 inches, fill it up, insert the basket, and place it back on the microwave to process. I have mastered the art of moving a fully water loaded machine the small bit required. This one sloshes water everywhere. From the top of the machine? No! There’s an engineered HOLE in the back of the reservoir to keep you from overfilling the chamber that last small bit. Water fountains everywhere from the center back part of the machine. I suppose I could place a piece of duct tape over it, but who wants duct tape in their coffee. Excellent God.
I will be replacing my machine shortly, then gleefully smashing my carafes on the driveway.

6 years and going strong!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I got my small 4 cup brewer as a high school graduation present. This thing has made it through the dorms, through several apartments and terrible roommates, and finally into my new home! I have had this thing for over 6 years and it is still completely fabulous. It is so simple to use, and has never given me any problems. I don’t even clean it as often as I should and the quality of the coffee is still brilliant. I am going to be sad when it comes time to stop using this, because it’s so simple to use and makes fantastic coffee! I would certainly recommend this to anyone. It was perfect for the small dorms and perfect for a home.

No more steam burns
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I looked a long time before finding this coffee maker. It is one of the few (if the only) that you can modify slightly so you don’t get steam burns on the top of your wrist. We Americans have the unusual motor habit of bending our wrist in an unnatural way to pour something, so coffee pots are made with the spout 180 degrees from the handle. To be able to pour by rotating your wrist instead of bending it, you can loosen one screw and relocate the handle so is 90 degrees from the spout. You can relocate it right or left depending on whether you are right- or left-handed.
It makes excellent coffee, too.
One caveat: Make sure you get the one with the straight vertical sided carafe and not the one with the tapering sides. You cannot modify the one with the tapering sides. Amazon uses both pictures for the same pot.

I am a self proclaimed coffee snob with the tastes of Starbucks, coffee and high-end Cuisinart and Krups makers.
The price was so excellent at walmart on this one, I had to try it – and I’d been looking for a cute small 4 cup, so I could have caffinated in one pot and decaf in another.
Had tried Mr coffee in the past and not liked it. Got it home an made my 1st 4 cups. It brewed a perfect pot, without leaks. The caraffe poured with no spills on the counter.
Cheap, small, cute, lightweight and brews a excellent pot. I am pleased
