Only one complaint
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Water got trapped inside the lid of the pot when I rinsed it off after using it for the first time. I can’t tell where the water is but can hear it sloshing around when I shake the lid. I’ve tried draining it in all sort of positions but the water won’t come out. And it can’t be disassembled. I’m worried the water will eventually cause mold. But in the meantime, I’m enjoying the cofee maker and like everything about it–except that lid.

Perfect Coffee Maker
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
After trying several coffee makers, we finally hit on the perfect one. The Jerdon 4 Cup Coffee Maker with the thermal carafe brews coffee at whatever strength we choose and at a perfect temperature. All of this with a spout that pours without dripping all over the place. Previous products that we tried were messy and all did not brew at a excellent temperature, even very expensive models. One minor problem that Jerdon should address is the fitting of the lid on the main unit. Ours is slightly tweaked, but this is a cosmetic concern only. Functionally, this is the BEST coffee maker we have ever owned, and we have been drinking coffee for more than 50 years!

fantastic, except doesn’t keep it hot
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I ordered this to use at work, and because it had a thermal carafe. I was looking forward to making my two mugs worth of coffee and being able to delight in them both. The first mug was fine, the second was less than hot, basically warm. Tastes fine, clean, simple to use, but unfortunately for me, I now only make enough for one mug. If you plot to drink it straight away, go for it. If not, reckon twice.

Functional, but requires attention
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I bought this coffee maker for my office because it allows me to make just a few cups at a time and the carafe keeps the coffee reasonably warm without burningn it. But, I have learned the hard way that you have to make sure that the drip basket lines up perfectly with the hole in the top of the coffee pot, which is not necessarily the “default position.” On more than one occasion, I have returned to find coffee overflowing onto the counter. If you are careful to set things up right, though, this is a fine coffee pot for the price.

Fantastic if you like flavored water
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Bought this based on the brilliant ratings. But, the brewing cycle is so small that you don’t get coffee – you get flavored water. The design and the thermal carafe are fantastic features, but you don’t get coffee.

Excellent coffee maker, but smaller than advertised
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Very simple coffee maker that gets the job done, and then turns off. All pieces are plastic. I really like the auto shut-off feature and the thermal carafe. The only negative is that the capacity is not 4 cups. Inside the thermal carafe are 3 measuring lines: 12 oz, 16 oz, and 22 oz. The maximum capacity for this machine is 22 oz, not the 32 oz that is advertised. Overall, I’m pleased with the product and it will still meet my needs just fine.

Fantastic small coffeemaker
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I trusted the reviews here and they were right. This is a fine product and so simple they don’t even include instructions. The only drawback is that you have to wait maybe 30 seconds to make sure it isn’t still dripping before you pull out the small thermos. Regular coffee filters fit it very nicely. All in all, an brilliant buy.

Handy, carefree, excellent cup of coffee
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Used one of these in a hotel in Ontario, chose I had to try one. No more forgetting to turn the coffee maker off on my way to work, no more burnt coffee, just the right amount, plenty hot for me. Brews quick, small profile fits nicely on countertop without being obnoxious. The switch can be just a wee bit tough, it’s spring-loaded and I have to make sure I don’t push it so hard that it gets stuck in the down position, but it just takes a bit of a touch to get it back up about 1/4 inch to start the brewing cycle. Overall, I like it. When this one goes, I’ll buy another just like it.

Fantastic Coffee Maker

This is a fantastic coffee maker, it’s exactly what I was looking for. The coffee is hot, it keeps fresh and the unit is built sturdy. I liked it so much I bought another one for work.

excellent product but

I really like the unbreakable insulated pot and the auto shutoff but it does not have a pause and serve feature which I miss more than I thought I would.

Not for coffee connoisseurs, for the rest of us!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This pot was designed for motel use with pre-packaged coffee. So the construction is simple and very very solid, nice compared to a lot of the flimsy coffee makers out there. I use it to make coffee at work, I wanted more than those “single cup” brewers but not a full pot, and I didn’t want to worry about leaving a burner on or have to buy specialized coffee pods — the machine turns itself off after brewing and uses normal filters and coffee.
I’m not sure people persnickety about coffee would like this pot as much as I do. It doesn’t get the coffee quite as hot as I like, and those that swear by the gold reusable filters would be disappointed, I haven’t found one that would fit, but this isn’t an issue for me. If you want a solid, reliable, no frills machine this is it. If you are fussy about coffee, you should stick with the single cup type brewers.

Simple, Effective Jerdon
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I had been searching for a four cup thermal carafe coffee maker and found it here. Simple: no warmer to burn coffee, no timer or clock, a dripless carafe (YES), simple cup markings in carafe, automatic shutoff when done brewing. Coffee comes out at temperature that does not scald you and tastes excellent. Note: All plastic except for heating element. Does what it says it will.

Excellent Coffee

Bought as a Christmas gift for my father. He says it makes fantastic coffee and keeps it warm for a long time without burning, since this has a insulated carafe.
